Siwa Oasis

  • Siwa Oasis is an urban oasis in Egypt. It is located between the Qattara Depression and the Great Sand Sea in the Western Desert.
  • Tracing its roots to the 10th millennium BC, boasts an enchanting history. it houses several archaeological landmarks dating back to the Pharaonic and Roman era, such as the Temple of Amun, the Temple of the Treasury, The remains of the Shali Ghadi fortress and The Mountain of the Dead offering a glimpse into its rich past.
  • The Challenge is to design a Wellness camp experience that integrates ecological design principles with natural materials like Karshif, wood, and palm trees. The camp aims to promote holistic well-being through a diverse program including meditation, workshops, sports activities, and entertainment.

Once your submission has been shortlisted for the competition, we will post the shortlisted entries on our social platforms and the one that gets the most engagement will be awarded the public award prize.

It is not allowed to submit projects that result as a mere product of algorithms or artificial intelligences. However They can be used as tools of inspiration, but the submitted
proposal must correspond to a tangible design exercise (plans, sections, elevations, axonometries).

Yes, we use Instagram Platform to showcase the outstanding participants’ Submissions. we are currently in discussions with several international media representatives in the industry.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to submit multiple entries for the same competition. IDOARCH relies on a panel of volunteer jurors and members who dedicate their time and effort without compensation, and they can only handle a specific number of entries.
