Ilse Martinez, born in Mexico where she graduated as an Architect back in 2020. After her bachelor's degree she moved to Germany to pursue a master’s degree and graduated as an Architectural Lighting Designer from Hochschule Wismar. Currently works as a full-time Lighting Designer at Foster + Partners in London.

Ing. arch. Lucia Oberfrancová, PhD. finished her architecture study at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava in 2008. The focus of her Master study was “ecological and experimental architecture”. Soon after, she worked two years in an architectural office in her hometown in Slovakia. In 2010, she received a scholarship from the DBU (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt). Lucia has completed one year of research on earth-sheltered architecture with Prof. Wollensak at Hochschule Wismar, Germany. Along with working as a research assistant under Prof. Wollensak, she accompanied several sustainable research projects such as Three-Zero-Standard Kindergarten “Wildblume” in Garz/ Rügen, Environmentally Sound Stage Wismar, Innovation Engine Sustainable Building - Methods, Solution Approaches and Competences for Architects, Engineers and Building Contractors, Building physics laboratory, measurement technology and building control systems. Currently, she is a research assistant in the project Sustainable Planning and Building with the help of Digitalisation. Since 2011, she has been teaching the Green Building Course at the Faculty of Architecture at Hochschule Wismar and since 2017, she is responsible for the module of Energy Calculation, Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Certification in the Master Program Architecture and Environment.

Liam, a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, later settled in Vancouver, Canada, where he spent the majority of his adult life. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, receiving the Architecture Institute of British Columbia Achievement Award for his outstanding academic works. Subsequently, Liam pursued his passion for architectural innovation by completing a Master’s degree in Architecture at the University of Wismar in Germany, where he was awarded the DAAD Master-Thesis Finance Scholarship.
With over six years of experience at the helm of numerous successful multi-family projects across British Columbia, Liam has established himself as a leader in the field. His expertise extends seamlessly from project conception, through construction and to completion, demonstrating a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the architectural process.
Driven by a deep-seated commitment to fostering genuine communities within his projects, Liam is dedicated to creating spaces that evoke a profound sense of belonging among occupants. His visionary approach is exemplified by his master thesis, which presents a radical blueprint for off-grid, self-sustaining alternative community living. With a particular emphasis on remote workers and their families, Liam's thesis offers innovative solutions that can be implemented outside major urban centers worldwide, enriching lives and promoting sustainable living practices on a global scale.

Ruben Jodar, an architect from Barcelona, is currently co-directing an architecture office in Berlin and simultaneously teaching classes on Experimental Design in Wismar.
Since 2010, Jodar has been instrumental in developing an innovative approach to architecturally intervening in public spaces and has accumulated substantial experience in the participatory dissemination of architecture through his involvement with StiftungFREIZEIT.
In his teaching career, Jodar remains committed to creating novel educational formats, conducting research on new typologies, and constructing experimental prototypes alongside his students in diverse locations such as Ecuador and India.
During his formative years, Jodar had the privilege of working alongside esteemed architects such as Peter Zumthor, Olafur Eliasson, and at the MVRDV Chair in Berlin.
Jodar's educational background showcases his commitment to academic excellence, having completed his diploma at Waseda University in Tokyo, graduating with Cum Laude honors at the ETSAB, and participating in exchange programs at the Accademia di Architettura Mendrisio.

Mariam Korachy, Architect with a bachelor degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo, 2001. She has received her M.Sc. in conservation of Monuments and Historical sites at the Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation (RLICC) at KULeuven, Belgium in 2010. Her thesis was on the vernacular architecture of Egyptian villages.
She has long experience in heritage conservation projects ranging from rehabilitation of historic areas especially in Historic Cairo, restoration of heritage buildings and museums exhibitions. She is founder of Mariam Korachy Architects, the office conducted architecture, interior design projects and furniture

Hartwig Duensing is an accomplished architect with a rich academic background. He embarked on his educational journey at the Technische Universität Braunschweig, where he studied from 1981 to 1985. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, he later attended the Technische Universität München from 1985 to 1987 and subsequently the Technische Universität Berlin from 1987 to 1989. His academic journey culminated with a remarkable diploma thesis on "Messeerweiterungsbauten München" in 1989, under the guidance of Professor Nedeljkov at TU Berlin. In 1992, Hartwig Duensing took a bold step into entrepreneurship, co-founding Duensing Edye Architekten, and in 2012, he continued his architectural legacy by establishing Duensing Architekten. With over three decades of experience, his architectural expertise and innovative designs continue to shape the built environment.
