With a master’s degree from the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Slovak University of Technology, my professional work began in Bratislava at studio kuklicasmerek+, working on Slovak and Czech competitions centered on the reconstruction and transformation of existing buildings. Several of these projects were award-winning and shaped my interest in adaptation as a long-term architectural direction. Working with existing structures is compelling because new programs must be fitted into spaces created for different purposes, often resulting in unusual and exciting outcomes. Early 2025 brought a move to Berlin to join Büro Hacke, where I contribute to international and local projects while developing these ideas further.

Featured Project Showcase

Science Center and Planetarium

The aim of the proposal is to give visitors and staff of the Science Center and Planetarium direct contact with the natural qualities of the unique Mlynská dolina site in Bratislava. The building takes advantage of its immediate proximity to the zoo and the wooded slopes, toward which the main exhibition areas are oriented.

Featured Project Showcase

The exhibitions and public spaces flow seamlessly onto a green accessible roof, inviting visitors to experience the science center in new ways. The nearby highway introduces a strong contrast to the environment, which is reflected in the dual character of the overall architectural form.
